THE CHALLENGE
Refurbishment projects are often complex and unpredictable because they begin with incomplete information, leading to planning and communication gaps. Many of these projects take place in live office environments, which can disrupt daily operations, risk damage to equipment, and negatively impact overall productivity.
Despite these challenges, refurbishment is crucial when optimizing existing spaces or moving into a pre-fitted space left by a previous tenant or contractor. Demolishing and rebuilding not only wastes resources but also carries significant environmental costs.
EXPERIENCE
At Acme, we have extensive experience handling such projects. Through numerous successful refurbishments, we have developed the skills and competencies necessary to navigate the specific challenges of this delivery model.
OUR PROCESS
Our in-house design team is actively involved in every refurbishment project. They quickly identify challenges, consult with the client and designated architect or consultant, and fast-track resolutions. Our MEP Managers analyze the complexities of the existing systems to ensure smooth integration.
To minimize disruption, we can schedule certain activities after work hours. On-site, we establish dust-free zones to protect operational office areas and prevent spillage.
A dedicated Project Manager, along with a team of site engineers and supervisors, ensures all stakeholders remain informed, guiding the project efficiently to successful completion.
